I spent the last few years immersed in the teachings of Dallas Willard, eventually writing my PhD dissertation on his view of pastoral ministry. But I did not do the research just for the degree. I did it because I desperately needed a better way to pastor and live.

This newsletter is my attempt to take that work and bring it down to earth for you.

About Me:
Howdy! I am Garrison Griffith, the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church in Wisner, Louisiana. I live here in Franklin Parish with my wife, Braiden, and our two kids, Graham and Eleanor. I have a PhD in Pastoral Ministry from SWBTS. My real passion is helping people figure out how to be actual apprentices of Jesus right where they are. I write this newsletter to help pastors and leaders understand how to guide people into the present, available reality of God’s kingdom in their ordinary lives, and use Dallas Willard as a guide along the way.
