When reading the scriptures, it seems God has a strong affinity for shepherds. Abraham, Moses, David, Amos, shepherds in the field, to name a few. I am surprised that Jesus chose fishermen rather than shepherds.

Susan, I can think of no greater compliment. Might I suggest trying Hannah Coulter instead. I find it can be an easy entry point for some!
